What Makes Our Process Different
dameSpeak is a small agency by design. Alex and Lori are personally involved in every client engagement — not as account managers who pass work to a junior team, but as the strategists and practitioners doing the actual work. That means the expertise you evaluate when you decide to work with us is the expertise you get when the work starts.
We don't have a sales team that hands you off after you sign. We don't have templated campaigns that get applied to every client regardless of fit. And we don't measure success by how busy we look — we measure it by whether your business is growing.
The dameSpeak Process: Six Phases
Every client engagement moves through six phases — whether you're starting with a single service or a full-scope retainer. Here's what each phase looks like in practice.
What to Expect When You Start Working With dameSpeak
The first thirty days of any dameSpeak engagement are about building the foundation — understanding, auditing, and strategizing — before moving into execution. Here's what that timeline looks like:
How We Communicate With Clients
Communication is where a lot of agency relationships break down. You hired someone to handle your marketing and then spend half your time chasing them for updates. That's not how dameSpeak works.
Every client has a defined communication cadence from the start — monthly reporting, a monthly planning check-in, and direct access to Alex and Lori for anything that comes up between scheduled touchpoints. We don't make you submit a ticket to ask a question. We don't route communications through an account manager who has to check with the team before responding.
If something changes in your business that affects your marketing strategy, we want to know. If we see something in your data that requires a conversation, we reach out. The relationship works best when communication goes both ways — and we make it easy for that to happen.
